Teacher appreciation is something I value. Here is a teacher appreciation poem that I created in honor of teacher appreciation day and to say "thank you teacher" - to all of my readers!

Free Teacher Appreciation Poem Printable

To my fellow teachers, post it where you can read it daily and remember that YOU MATTER!

Teacher Poems - Teacher Appreciation

It hits me every summer when I'm out of school the sheer number of decisions you make as a teacher in an hour, let alone an entire day!

Just so you know, dear teacher friend, you're not alone and that the mental focus you give to your students is noticed.

There are many other things that separate us as teachers from any other profession, but I think the thing that floors me most is the sheer amount of mental time and mental energy we give.

So, here it is...

If you didn't hear this from anyone today {{and even if you did}}

Teacher Appreciation Poem

How to turn it into a teacher appreciation gift

Print this free printable poem and place it in a photo frame for your favorite teacher as a gift or print it for yourself.

It comes in both 8x10 and 5x7 so you have options for which kind of frame to use.

Thank You Teacher

I used bright colors to pop against the white making this a clean but fun printable that can fit into just about any classroom theme or is perfect for your at-home office.

This thank you teacher poem looks great attached to the front of a teacher gift bag too!

Teacher Appreciation Card Tag

If you're wrapping a unique teacher thank you gift like something fantastic from Teacher T-shirts, this printable makes a perfect card to sign in the bottom corner for teacher appreciation week or for an end-of-the-school-year gift.

Let's wrap it up

There you have it - a free teacher appreciation poem printable that looks great in a photo frame or attached as a card to a thank you gift.

What's important in teacher appreciation is to recognize that your hard work doesn't go unnoticed. Your work may often feel unappreciated, but those student ears, eyes, and hearts notice it every day.

I received this from a parent today--I'm a first grade teacher--and it truly did mean a lot. I am here to find out who wrote it. And to say thank you.

    Thank you.

Oh my goodness Karla - you just made my day. - thank you so much for searching me out to bring it full circle. I meant every word in that poem because it's what a teacher like you does every day. Hold onto those words that came from both my heart - and the heart of the parent who handed it to you - tomorrow and on those tricky days when we need to be reminded of the big picture.

This is great. Thank YOU. Since the staff didn't hear anything like this, I sent it out to everyone - because I needed to hear it.

Hi, I love this! The jpg seems to only be viewable in the internet window--any way to change the format so it can be opened/downloaded and saved? Thanks

      Hi MaryAlison,
Since it's a photo - you'll want to right click on the jpg in the internet window. Then select "save image" or "save image as" and that should give you the option to save it to your computer! Hope that can help.

I would just tell them I made it myself. How can they prove that you didn't?
