How it works
Print the first-day sign(s) and have them somewhere handy during the first day and stash a class list and pen with them.
Then when you have a few minutes in between activities, or in my case, when the students are having play time (because they get that the first two weeks of school) call a child over and hand them the sign.
Snap your photo and call the next kiddo over. Cross off kiddos from your class list to keep track.
Easy and done.
You can always slip the sign into a dollar store photo frame or glue it onto a piece of foam board to make it sturdy, but that’s completely optional.
